About Jeff

Born and raised in Minnesota, Jeff Wiemiller is an author, blogger and clinician. He earned a doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2005.

His first novel, The Cypress Club, was the 2nd-place winner in the fiction category for the 2022 Indie Reader Discovery Awards, and was a category finalist for the Eric Hoffer Book Award the same year. He has enjoyed a regular following on his Meryl Streep blog, WordontheStreep.com, since 2011.

Jeff is a travel enthusiast, opera devotee and cinephile. He and his husband live in Minneapolis with their two cats.
